The subway is the most efficient way to navigate Tokyo. With Tokyo's 13 subway lines, this metro pass provides convenient access to explore the city. Although initially confusing, the system is well-structured, and a provided map will help in planning routes or navigating if needed.
Note that this metro pass is not valid for JR trains or other modes of public transport. It is exclusively valid for trains within the Tokyo metro system and the TOEI Transportation system.
How does it work?
Your passes will be sent to you, and the activation occurs upon passing through the first subway turnstile. You will have 24, 48, or 72 hours for unlimited rides on the Tokyo subway based on your selection.
Times and frequency
The Tokyo Metro operates daily from 5 am to 12:30 am. With consistent scheduling, waits are typically no longer than three minutes.
Children Under 6
Children under 6 can ride the Tokyo metro for free. Each adult with a metro pass may bring up to 2 children under 6 at no charge.
