If you want to move quickly around the Japanese capital, the subway is your best option. With Tokyo's 13 subway lines, you'll reach your destination efficiently. This metro pass provides easy access to all lines, enabling full exploration of the city.

Initially, the system may seem confusing; however, its lines are perfectly structured. After a few trips, you'll navigate the underground system like a local. You'll receive a map with your passes to plan your routes in advance or if you feel lost.

Note that this metro pass is not valid for JR trains or other modes of public transport. The pass is valid only for trains operating within the Tokyo metro system and the TOEI Transportation system.

How does it work?

Your passes will be sent to you, and upon passing through the first subway turnstile, your card will activate. You will have 24, 48, or 72 hours, based on your selection, to enjoy unlimited rides on the Tokyo subway within the chosen timeframe.

Times and frequency

The Tokyo Metro operates every day from 5 am to 12:30 am. The trains are reliable, with wait times of no more than three minutes.

Children Under 6

Children under 6 can ride the Tokyo metro for free. An adult with a metro pass can bring along 2 children under 6 at no charge.
