Visit the world's largest fish market on this tour of the Tsukiji district in Tokyo, where you'll taste fresh fish and enjoy a traditional meal.
Tour Details
We'll meet at the designated time outside Tsukiji Station to visit what was once the largest fish market in the world.
The tour starts by visiting a small Zionist shrine and the Tsukiji Hongan-ji Buddhist temple, dating back to the 17th century.
Next, we will explore the streets that formerly housed the Tsukiji Market. Although the large fish market is now on the nearby island of Toyosu, many famous fish shops remain in Tsukiji.
During the tour, we will taste oysters and other local fresh fish products. Additionally, we'll enter a restaurant to enjoy donburi, a traditional Japanese dish of fish meat and vegetables.
The tour concludes at an observatory with spectacular panoramic views of the area and will finish back at the starting point after a total of 3 hours.
