Explore the historic center of Cebu City, the first capital of the Philippines, on our guided tour. Discover top attractions and landmarks on the neighboring island of Mactan.

Guided Tour of Cebu and Mactan

We will pick you up at your hotel in Cebu and begin our tour of the city, the oldest in the Philippines. Our first stop is Magellan's Cross, where you will learn about the Portuguese explorer's connection to Cebu.

Next, we will visit the Santo Niño Basilica, home to the important relic, Santo Niño de Cebú. After the church, we will travel to Fort San Pedro, built in 1738 by Spanish workers and native Cebuanos.

Our following stop is the Yap-Sandiego Ancestral House, preserved for over 300 years, showcasing the lifestyle of historical merchants and families in Cebu.

We will then enter the city's Taoist Temple, a hilltop shrine offering unique views of Cebu and the surrounding regions of Mandaue and Lapulapu.

A local meal at a traditional restaurant will provide time to regain energy before we cross to the island of Mactan via the Marcelo Fernan bridge.

In Mactan, we will visit the Lapu-Lapu shrine, a bronze statue honoring the indigenous ruler. Finally, before returning to your hotels in Cebu, we will visit a traditional Philippine guitar factory to learn about instrument-making and its significance in Philippine folklore.
