Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Tomar train station and begin our tour. First, we will proceed to the Pegões Aquaduct, which stands at 30 meters (98 feet) in height and consists of 180 arches, constructed starting in 1593 during the reign of Phillip I of Portugal.

Next, we will visit Christ's Convent, a significant monument of Portugal's architecture and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will spend approximately 2 hours exploring the monument and its gardens.

Continuing, we will head to Tomar's historic centre, crossing the renowned Sepra Pinto Street and arriving at Republic Square, known for its black and white diamond mosaic. We'll pause here for an opportunity to grab something to eat.

Our tour will then proceed around Mata dos Sete Montes, a 39-hectare park featuring various tree species, including judas, oak, and olive trees, along with a miniature replica of the towers of Christ's Covent.

Finally, we'll conclude the tour back at the starting point, totaling 7 hours.
