Segway Tour of the Distillery District

Your adventure begins at 11 Gristmill Lane, located in the heart of the Distillery District. After meeting your guide, you'll undergo a brief instruction session on Segway safety. Once you’re equipped with your helmet, you’re ready to embark on your journey!

During the tour, you will uncover the intriguing history of alcohol production in this area of Toronto. You'll learn about the famed reputation of Canadian beverages, understand the reasons behind the neighborhood's decline, and discover how it has transformed into a vibrant leisure center in the city. All these insights will be shared by your knowledgeable guide as you glide through the historic surroundings.

Your route will take you along Distillery Lane, the district's iconic street, where you’ll hear compelling stories and the history related to the former Gooderham & Worts Distillery, which was once Canada’s largest distiller and played a crucial role in the development of the Canadian alcohol industry.

The tour concludes as you return to the original meeting point.

No driving license or special permit is required to operate Segways.Participants must be at least 12 years old to ride a Segway; those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.Riders should weigh between 100 and 280 lbs (45 to 127 kg).
