This scooter tour of Toronto is an efficient way to explore key sights while learning about the city's history.
Description
Welcome to Toronto! The activity begins on Robertson Crescent Street. We will start our tour at Fort York, which marks the origin of modern Toronto. Here, you can explore military fortifications and learn about Toronto's role in the War of 1812. This area on Lake Ontario was crucial to the city's development into a major metropolis.
Next, we will scooter to the famous CN Tower, one of the tallest free-standing structures globally, where photo opportunities await at the base or observation deck. Following this, we'll head to the Distillery District, a pedestrian area celebrated for its Victorian industrial architecture.
We will then visit Riverdale Farm, located in Cabbagetown, to meet farm animals and learn about urban agriculture, offering a peaceful escape amid the city.
Finally, we will explore the diverse Kensington Market neighborhood, known for its vibrant shops, murals, and international cuisine that reflects Toronto's multicultural essence. This scooter tour concludes back at Fort York after 3 hours.
