Discover Cantabria's hidden gems on our Comillas & Gaudí Capricho Guided Tour. You'll visit the town of Comillas and Gaudí's Capricho, a notable piece of modernist architecture.

Comillas & Gaudí Capricho Guided Tour

At the designated time, we'll meet in front of the Pabellón Municipal La Habana Vieja in Torrelavega. From there, we'll travel to Cantabria's western coast to the town of Comillas.

Our first stop will be the Cabezón de la Sal forest, known for its sequoias that reach over 131 feet (40 metres) tall. After visiting the forest, we'll proceed to Comillas, recognized as one of the most beautiful towns on the Cantabrian coast.

We'll explore the monuments in Comillas, a destination favored by the Spanish aristocracy in the early 20th century. Our visit includes the former Seminary Mayor, now the University of Comillas' headquarters, situated on a hill with views of the Sobrellano Palace.

After the university visit, we will go to Villa Quijano to tour Gaudí's Capricho, a modernist mansion showcasing Antoni Gaudí's distinctive style.

The tour concludes with a bus tour of Comillas, seeing the Exterminating Angel sculpture and the Tres Caños Fountain, followed by our return to Torrelavega after a four-hour excursion.
