Details of the Day Trip

We will begin our excursion by picking you up at the Pabellón Municipal La Habana Vieja at the agreed time. From there, we will head to the El Soplao Cave by minibus, where an awe-inspiring experience awaits.

Upon arrival at the cave's main entrance, renowned as one of Spain's geological treasures, we'll board the Soplao tourist train. The journey will present us with splendid views of stalactites, stalagmites, columns, and calcite crystals, among various other fascinating formations.

Following the train ride, a guided exploration of the cave’s interior awaits. During this tour, we will uncover intriguing facts about the mining heritage of Cantabria, highlighting the cave's significant role in the region’s mining history over the years.

After our cave adventure, we will make a quick stop at a viewpoint located on the outskirts of the village of Pechón. Here, you can enjoy spectacular vistas of the Tina Menor estuary, a perfect way to conclude our trip.

Finally, we will make our way back to Torrelavega, with an expected return approximately 4 hours after departure.
