El Soplao Cave Day Trip

On this day trip to El Soplao Cave from Torrelavega, you'll explore one of the most famous caves in Cantabria.

Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from the Pabellón Municipal La Habana Vieja and travel by minibus to the El Soplao Cave.

Upon arrival at the cave's main entrance, we will board the Soplao tourist train. From the train, we will observe stalactites, stalagmites, columns, calcite crystals and other formations.

We will then take a guided tour of the cave's interior, learning about the mining history of Cantabria, as this cave was integrally linked to the region's mining industry.

After visiting the cave, we will stop briefly at a viewpoint on the outskirts of the village of Pechón, offering views of the Tina Menor estuary.

We will return to Torrelavega, arriving approximately 4 hours after the start time.
