Udias Mines Day Trip
Meeting point is in front of the Pabellón La Habana Vieja at 9 pm, followed by a 20-minute journey to the Udias mines. Participants will be provided with helmets and caving gear upon arrival.
The exploration lasts for 1 hour and 30 minutes in Cantabria's largest zinc and lead mine with an expert guide. Insights into the mines' history, which operated for almost 80 years, will be provided, including the visibility of wooden sleepers from old railway tracks in the tunnels.
After the tour, there will be a break for a sandwich and a soft drink before returning to Torrelavega, with an expected arrival time of 11:30 pm.
