Grey Lake Boat Trip + Beach & Glacier Visit

Embark on an extraordinary boat journey across Lake Grey, located within the stunning Torres del Paine National Park. This experience also includes a visit to the nearby beach and the impressive glacier.

Lake Grey Boat Experience + Beach & Glacier Excursion

The adventure commences at 12 noon with a meeting at the Hotel Lago Grey, from where we will travel by minibus to the Pingo riverbed. A brief 40-minute hike will lead us to the scenic Grey Beach, nestled along the lake's edge. This location is renowned as one of the most picturesque sites in the entire Torres del Paine National Park.

Upon arrival at the beach, a spacious catamaran will be ready for boarding. We will set sail on Lake Grey, where the outdoor observation deck provides ample opportunity for capturing stunning photographs of the breathtaking scenery of Chilean Patagonia, a remarkable natural expanse framed by majestic mountains.

As our journey progresses across Lake Grey, we will uncover various striking vistas, allowing you to fully appreciate the mesmerizing landscapes of the Torres del Paine National Park, which never fail to captivate visitors.

We will return to Grey Beach at 3:45 pm. From there, you’ll make your way back on foot to the Hotel Lago Grey, arriving at approximately 4:30 pm.

Grey Beach to Refugio Grey

Check-in at 9 am, departure at 10 am, arrival at Refugio Grey at 10:45 am.Check-in at 12 noon, departure at 1 pm, arrival at Refugio Grey at 1:45 pm.Check-in at 3 pm, departure at 4 pm, arrival at Refugio Grey at 5:30 pm.

Refugio Grey to Grey Beach

Departure at 11 am, arrival at Grey Beach at 12:45 pm.Departure at 2 pm, arrival at Grey Beach at 3:45 pm.Departure at 5:45 pm, arrival at Grey Beach at 6:45 pm.

About the Catamaran

The crossing will be conducted on the Grey III catamaran, featuring a main cabin designed to comfortably accommodate 98 passengers. An open-air deck enhances the experience, offering breathtaking views of the Torres del Paine National Park.

During your boat ride, you will be treated to a traditional Chilean beverage known as pisco sour.

For those interested, tickets can also be reserved for the boat route connecting Hotel Lago Grey and Refugio Grey. Note that the route will differ based on your point of departure.
