Grey Lake Boat Trip + Beach & Glacier Visit

Embark on a memorable boat journey across Lake Grey, situated in the stunning Torres del Paine National Park. During this excursion, you'll also have the opportunity to visit the adjacent beach and glacier.

Lake Grey Boat Excursion + Beach and Glacier Exploration

Our adventure starts at noon when we meet at the Hotel Lago Grey. From there, we will travel by minibus to the Pingo riverbed. This will be followed by a scenic 40-minute hike leading us to the pristine Grey Beach, a highlight within the park.

Upon reaching the shore, a comfortable catamaran will await us. We will board and set off to explore Lake Grey. The boat’s outside deck offers an excellent vantage point for capturing stunning photographs of the magnificent landscapes of Chilean Patagonia, encompassing dramatic mountain backdrops.

As we cruise along the lake, prepare to be mesmerized by the breathtaking vistas of the Torres del Paine National Park. The stunning natural beauty here never fails to leave a lasting impression on its visitors.

We will conclude our journey by returning to Grey Beach at 3:45 pm, from where you will walk back at your own pace to the Hotel Lago Grey, reaching it by around 4:30 pm.

Grey Beach to Refugio Grey

Check-in at 9 am, leaving at 10 am, with an arrival at Refugio Grey by 10:45 am.Check-in at noon, departing at 1 pm, arriving at Refugio Grey by 1:45 pm.Check-in at 3 pm, with a 4 pm departure, reaching Refugio Grey by 5:30 pm.

Refugio Grey to Grey Beach

Departure at 11 am, arriving at Grey Beach by 12:45 pm.Departing at 2 pm, with an arrival at Grey Beach by 3:45 pm.Leaving at 5:45 pm, arriving at Grey Beach at 6:45 pm.

About the Boat

The crossing will be conducted on the Grey III catamaran, featuring a main cabin that accommodates 98 passengers. An open-air deck is available for guests to enjoy the splendid views of Torres del Paine National Park.

During the trip, a traditional Chilean drink known as pisco sour will be served to enhance your experience.

If you prefer, it's possible to purchase a ticket for the boat service connecting Hotel Lago Grey with Refugio Grey, which will follow a different route based on your starting location.
