Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Estartit coast with this Medes Islands Kayak Tour. You'll paddle in the Mediterranean waters around one of the Costa Brava archipelagos.

Description

At 9 am, we'll meet in front of Camí del Ter Vell on the Passeig Marítim in Estartit for brief instructions on kayak usage.

We will depart from Ter Vell Beach in Estartit, embarking on a kayak tour to the Medes Islands, which are 20 minutes away. The guide will share information about the archipelago, including its history as a pirate refuge.

During the tour, we will learn about the geology of the Medas Islands, including Meda Gran, Meda Petita, and the smaller Tascons. Upon arrival, we will make a brief stop for rest and a refreshing dip in the natural environment of the Costa Brava.

Afterward, we will return to the kayaks and paddle back to Estartit, gaining further insights about the Iles Medes Nature Reserve, designated a Protected National Nature Park in 2010.

We will return to the starting point by 11:30 am.
