Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Estartit coast with this Medes Islands Kayak Tour. You'll paddle in the Mediterranean waters around one of the Costa Brava archipelagos.

Description

At 9 am, we'll meet just in front of Camí del Ter Vell on the Passeig Marítim in Estartit for brief instructions on using the kayaks.

We will depart from Ter Vell Beach in Estartit to start the kayak tour, with the Medes Islands only 20 minutes away. The guide will share information about this archipelago, notable for being an old pirate refuge.

During the tour, we will learn about the geology of the Medes Islands, which include Meda Gran, Meda Petita, and smaller islands like the Tascons. We will stop to rest and take a refreshing dip in the natural surroundings of the Costa Brava.

Following our break, we will return to the kayaks to paddle back to Estartit while discovering more facts about the Iles Medes Nature Reserve, designated as a Protected National Nature Park in 2010.

We will return to the starting point at 11:30 am.
