Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet near the Nicolaus Copernicus Monument in the center of Old Town Torun. This tour will take you through one of the oldest cities in Poland and its history. We will walk through a medieval gothic town designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Beginning in the main square, we will visit the Gothic Town Hall, home to a collection of sculptures, paintings, and stained glass. You have the option to climb the tower for a view of Torun and the Vistula River.

Next, we will see the Hansa merchants' mansions and visit churches such as the Holy Spirit’s Church and Saint Mary’s Church, dating back to the 14th and 16th centuries. We will also explore Saint John’s Cathedral, built in the 13th century, which has hosted important Christian events, including the baptism of Nicolaus Copernicus.

We will continue by passing the city's defensive walls and towers, including Sailor’s Gate or Bridge Gate, and reach the castle ruins of the Teutonic Knights, built in the 13th century.

After a 3-hour tour, we will conclude at the initial meeting point.
