Discover the city where Nicolaus Copernicus was born from a whole new perspective with this sunset boat cruise on Torun's Vistula River.

Torun Sunset Cruise

As dusk falls over Torun, we will meet at the city's river port. At 7:50 pm we will set sail from the dock to cruise along the Vistula River on board a traditional wooden boat.

We will sail past Dybów Castle, a medieval fortress where the Statutes of Nieszawa were issued; the Gothic Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and John the Evangelist and the ancient defensive walls enclosing this northern Polish city.

Continuing on our sunset cruise, we will admire the nighttime illumination of the Torun Monastery Gate, one of three medieval gates in the city. We will also see the famous leaning red brick tower built in the 13th century to defend Torun.

Additionally, we will encounter many more medieval treasures on the banks of the Vistula River, including the impressive Bridge Gate. Stunning sunset views will be available from the boat. Remember to bring your camera!

Finally, at 9:20 pm, we will conclude the boat tour of Torun back at the starting point.
