Discover two of Girona's medieval towns: Rupit and Besalú on this day trip from Tossa de Mar. Additionally, you will visit the highest sanctuary in the country, located over 1000 metres above sea level.

Day Trip to Rupit and Besalú

The meeting point is the bus station in Tossa de Mar for a comfortable bus journey to the medieval city of Rupit.

After a one and a half hour journey, we will arrive at Rupit, known for its stone houses. Participants will have time to explore at leisure, cross the hanging bridge, walk its cobblestone streets, and enjoy the natural surroundings. A typical local lunch will also be included.

Following the exploration of Rupit, we will visit the Santuario de la Mare de Déu dal Far, located over 1000 metres above sea level. Participants can enjoy the views and visit the chapel while learning more about its history.

The trip continues to another medieval city, Besalú. Guests are encouraged to visit its bridge.

After exploring these medieval sites, we will return to the meeting point in Tossa de Mar.
