Diving at Mar Menuda Beach

Explore the beautiful seabed of Tossa de Mar with this diving experience at Mar Menuda Beach. You'll see barracudas, seahorses, and other species of the region.

Description

At the scheduled time, we will meet in the center of Tossa de Mar and take a stroll to Mar Menuda beach. Prepare to dive into the emerald waters.

After putting on the snorkeling, fins, and diving equipment, we'll enjoy a 45-minute dive in open water. In the waters of this area of the Costa Brava, we will observe large schools of barracudas and seahorses.

Overlooking the beach is the medieval castle of Tossa de Mar, creating a picturesque scene. This area of the Mediterranean is home to octopuses, cuttlefish, and lobsters. With caution, we may see some of these close up!

We will then return to the beach to explore fish hiding in the rocky islet of L'Illa.

This diving activity concludes 2.5 hours after we begin back at the meeting point.

Diving certificates

This activity is suitable only for divers with the PADI Open Water certificate. If you do not have this certificate, you can opt for a snorkeling activity that requires no experience.
