Our journey begins at Allée Jean Jaurès, number 29 in Toulouse, where you'll board a comfortable bus to head to the citadel of Carcassonne, situated just one hour away.

Upon arrival in this charming medieval town, we will guide you to Porte Narbonaise. You will then have 6 hours of free time to savor the local cuisine and explore the enchanting old town at your own pace. Prepare to be amazed by the impressive walls of Carcassonne, which extend for 3 kilometers and include 52 towers that safeguard the legendary secrets of the Cathars. Within these walls lies the Castle of Carcassonne, one of the most significant historical fortifications in the Occitanie region of France.

Don't miss the opportunity to stroll through the old town and visit remarkable landmarks, including the Basilica of Sainte-Nazaire, which features both Romanesque and Gothic architecture.

If desired, you can also venture outside the fortress to explore the ancient gates, such as Porte Narbonnaise and Porte de l'Aude.

The day will culminate as we return to Toulouse by bus, wrapping up this enriching 8-hour experience.
