On this excursion from Tours, we'll visit Chenonceau and Chambord, two famous castles in Loire. We'll also taste some wines in the Caves Ambacia wine cellars.

Description

The beautiful Loire Valley awaits us! At the indicated time, we'll depart from the Tourist Office in Tours. After a 40-minute minibus ride, we'll arrive at the renowned Château de Chenonceau, known as the "Château des Dames" (The Ladies Castle). This castle is famous for its arches over the Cher River and has a rich history connected to notable women from the French Renaissance.

After visiting Château de Chenonceau, we'll head to Amboise. In this historic town along the Loire River, we'll stop at Caves Ambacia, where sommeliers will guide us through underground galleries and offer a tasting of three French wines.

Following lunch on your own, we will visit the Château de Chambord. Inside this former royal residence, we'll learn about the contributions of Gallic kings to arts and sciences during the 16th century, including Leonardo da Vinci's time in France, which is reflected in some architectural elements of Chambord.

After the visit to Château de Chambord, we will return to Tours, arriving at the Tourist Office after 9 hours.
