On this tour of the castles of Villandry and Azay-le-Rideau, we will visit two notable châteaux of the Loire Valley.
Chateaux de Villandry & Azay-le-Rideau Tour
At the designated time, we will meet at the Tours Tourist Office to begin a tour of Château d'Azay-le-Rideau and Château de Villandry.
First, we'll visit the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau, located on an island in the Indre River. We will appreciate its exterior architecture and then enter the castle to explore the furnished rooms.
Afterward, we will proceed to the Château de Villandry. Upon arrival, we will explore its elegant gardens, learn about its history, and take in views of the Loire Valley from various viewpoints.
Finally, we will return to the starting point in Tours, completing the tour after a duration of 4 hours.
