Chateaux de Villandry & Azay-le-Rideau Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Tours Tourist Office to start a tour of 2 of the most beautiful châteaux in the Loire Valley: Villandry and Azay-le-Rideau.
First, we'll head to the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau, located on an island in the Indre River. Upon arrival, we'll appreciate the exterior architecture and then enter the castle to explore its furnished rooms.
After Azay-le-Rideau, we will proceed to the Château de Villandry, notable for its gardens. We will learn about its history and enjoy views of the Loire Valley from its viewpoints.
Finally, we will return to the starting point in Tours, where we will conclude the tour after 4 hours of sightseeing.
