Tours Sidecar Tour
Reservations can be made for either of the following tours. All tours begin at the specified time in front of the Tours Tourist Office, and include a guide as well as transport on a retro motorcycle with sidecar.
1-hour tour
This tour covers the historic centre of Tours, highlighting its significance in the Loire River Valley. Key sights include the gothic cathedral of Saint-Gatien, and stops at the towers of Charlemagne and the Clock, remnants of the ancient basilica of St. Martin. The tour also features Place Plumerau, known for its traditional half-timbered houses.
Schedule: Daily from 9 am to 6 pm.
2-hour tour
This option includes the one-hour tour of the historic centre of Tours followed by a visit to the wine-growing area of Vouvray. Participants will observe the vineyards, learn about the growth of grapes, and distinguish between various grape types before returning to the meeting point in Tours.

What are the bikes like?
The guide will operate the motorcycles, which can accommodate a maximum of two passengers: one on the motorcycle behind the guide and one in the sidecar.
