Hiking in Parque das Dunas

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the central square of the Nova Tramandaí neighborhood. After gathering, you'll travel in your own vehicle to the starting point of the hiking trail through Parque das Dunas.

Upon arrival, we'll hike through the sandy landscapes that separate the ocean from the coastal lagoons. The hike will cover 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) through Parque das Dunas, exploring the crescent moon shapes of the dunes and learning about this phenomenon.

We'll climb to the summit of one dune for a view of the Atlantic Ocean and the lakes with the Serra Gerais in the background, offering a chance for memorable photos.

As we continue exploring the park, we might encounter the tuco tuco, an endemic species. Our final destination will be the Fortaleza Lagoon, known for its kitesurfing opportunities.

After our exploration, we'll return to the starting point of the hiking trail and then head back to Tramandaí, concluding our 4.5 hours of adventure.
