Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we will meet at the Apicella Winery to commence our tour in Tramonti, recognized for its early contributions to viticulture on the Amalfi Coast.

We will start by learning about the history of the winery and the A' Scippata family, the current owners. Next, we will visit the vineyards, which thrive thanks to the Mediterranean winds from the Gulf of Salerno. Nearby, the Vesuvius National Park enriches the soil with unique properties.

After the vineyard tour, we will move inside the winery to understand the elaboration process of wine. We will explore the distinct fermentation and ageing processes for both red and white wines. Participants will gain significant knowledge by the end of this experience.

The tour concludes with a tasting of local wines, complemented by a selection of typical products from Tramonti, including cheese and cured meats. While sampling the wines, attendees will learn about their characteristics, highlighting the balance of tradition and innovation in Apicella wines.

The wine tasting will conclude our 2-hour wine tour.
