Tour Details

We will meet at the Apicella Winery at the scheduled time to start our tour in Tramonti, a key area for viticulture on the Amalfi Coast.

The tour will begin with an overview of the history of the winery and the A' Scippata family, the estate's owners. Then, we will visit the vineyards that benefit from Mediterranean winds from the Gulf of Salerno. The proximity to Vesuvius National Park adds unique properties to the soil.

After the vineyard visit, we will explore the winery to learn about the elaboration process of wine and the different fermentation and ageing processes for red and white wines.

The tour concludes with a tasting of local wines paired with typical products from Tramonti, such as cheese and cured meats. You will discover the distinct characteristics of each wine and the balance of tradition and innovation in Apicella wines.
