Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at the Apicella Winery to begin our tour of this location in Tramonti, one of the pioneering areas of viticulture on the Amalfi Coast.

We'll first learn about the history of the winery and the A' Scippata family, who owns the estate. Afterwards, we'll visit the vineyards, which benefit from Mediterranean winds from the Gulf of Salerno, and are influenced by the nearby Vesuvius National Park, giving the soil unique properties.

After visiting the vineyards, we'll head inside the winery to learn about the elaboration process of wine, including the different fermentation and ageing processes between red and white wines.

The tour of this winery will conclude with a tasting of local wines paired with typical products from Tramonti, including cheese and cured meats. You'll learn about the unique characteristics of the wines, appreciating the balance of tradition and innovation that defines Apicella wines.

The wine tasting will mark the end of our 2-hour wine tour.
