Erice Day Trip

We will convene at the designated spot in Trapani and board a bus bound for the enchanting village of Erice.

After a scenic 30-minute ride, we will reach Erice, a historic village perched high in the mountains, with narrow streets and notable monuments that resonate with rich traditions. Here, we will be treated to sweeping vistas stretching from Marsala to San Vito Lo Capo, showcasing the breathtaking beauty of the Sicilian landscape.

Accompanied by our knowledgeable guide, we will explore the key sites in this "City of 100 Churches", starting our journey through the ancient city gate known as Porta Trapani before continuing our walk through the intricate and winding pathways. We will then head to the town's historical center, where you can savor some of its local sweets or appreciate traditional craftsmanship, particularly the exquisite carpet making.

Throughout our Erice tour, we will also observe its distinctive decorations, which feature ceramics adorned with vibrant hues of yellow, blue, and red. Our outing will culminate with our return to Trapani, approximately three and a half hours after our departure.
