Description

We will convene at the specified hour on Via Ammiraglio Staiti, from where we will board a minibus for a journey to the Acropolis of Selinunte, situated approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Trapani.

Upon reaching our destination, you will have a total of 2 hours to freely wander around the archaeological site, accompanied by a convenient audioguide.

As you explore the acropolis of Selinunte, you will encounter a multitude of temples that once formed part of one of the most significant cities in Ancient Greece. Structures dedicated to deities like Zeus, Hera, and Apollo can be found here, dating back to the 5th century BC. In addition, informative panels will shed light on the fierce rivalry that existed between Selinunte and Segesta, as well as the brutal conflict fought for dominance between these two city-states.

Finally, after approximately 4 to 5 hours of exploration, we will return you to the original meeting point.
