Join this excursion to the Acropolis of Selinunte and spend a day immersed in history.
Description
At the designated time, we'll meet on Via Ammiraglio Staiti, where we'll board a minibus and head to the Acropolis of Selinunte, located about 1 hour 30 minutes away from Trapani.
Upon arrival, you'll have 2 hours free to explore the archaeological site with an audioguide.
During your visit to the Acropolis, you'll see numerous temples that were part of one of the most important cities of Ancient Greece. Buildings from the 5th century BC were dedicated to gods like Zeus, Hera, and Apollo. Information panels will also provide insights into the rivalry between the cities of Segesta and Selinunte, including the significant battle contested for dominance.
After approximately 4 or 5 hours, we will return you to the starting point.
