Looking for things to do near Falmouth? Enjoy this trip to Montego Bay, one of Jamaica's most famous cities. You'll visit Saint James Parish, Rose Hall Mansion, and much more.

Description

After picking you up from your hotel or the cruise port in Falmouth, we will begin a 40-minute journey to Montego Bay. Upon arrival, we will start a guided tour of the city.

The tour includes visits to key attractions within walking distance. We will stop at Saint James Parish, a historic church adjacent to a cemetery over 200 years old. We will also view the sculpture of Samuel Sharpe, Jamaica's national hero, and learn about his significant contributions, including his depiction on the Jamaican 50 dollar bill.

Nearby, we will find The Cage, which has a somber history as a former prison for slaves and drunkards in the 1800s.

Participants will have time to shop at the local handicraft market to experience the traditional Jamaican lifestyle.

The tour continues with a visit to Richmond Hill for a panoramic view of the coastline and mountains of Montego Bay, offering excellent photo opportunities.

Finally, back in Falmouth, we will admire the exterior of Rose Hall, a mansion located on the island's former banana plantations, uncovering its intriguing stories before concluding our tour.
