El Dedo de Dios Hiking Tour

At the time of your choice, we'll meet at Parque das Laranjeiras for a half-hour stroll to the hiking starting point.

Upon arrival, we will begin our descent on the hiking trail to El Dedo de Dios, which means 'God's Finger.' This mountain ridge, also referred to as Pico da Canastra, involves a trek of over 3.5 kilometers (about 2.2 miles) over two and a half hours, culminating in panoramic views of the Serra Gaucha.

After the views, we will start the descent through El Dedo de Dios, encountering vegetation typical of dry climates, including various cacti. We will make stops to identify different botanical species.

Throughout the tour, expect to hear the sounds of howler monkeys and native birds, as this area boasts remarkable biodiversity.

Finally, we will return to the starting point of the hike and then back to Parque das Laranjeiras, completing the tour approximately four and a half hours after pickup.
