Embark on this kayak tour along the Três Forquilhas River, and take an opportunity to immerse yourself in the diverse wildlife and flora surrounding its shores.

Description

At the designated time, we'll meet at Sítio Lima e Silva to kick off our kayak tour along the Três Forquilhas River. Ready to paddle?

We'll first head to the Chapéau River to organize our kayaking equipment. This starting point is notable for its historical steamboat harbor from the 1920s.

From there, we will navigate narrow canals to reach the Três Forquilhas River, named for the confluence of the Chapéu and Maior rivers. This river is the primary tributary to the Itapeva Lagoon, one of the largest in the Rio Grande do Sul region.

We will kayak along a 5.5-kilometer (3.4 miles) stretch, experiencing the unique flora of the Atlantic Forest. If conditions allow, we’ll make a brief stop for a swim.

After 3 hours, we’ll conclude the tour at BR 101 road in Três Forquilhas, where we will return the kayaks and part ways.

A transfer back to the starting point can be arranged after the kayak tour for a fee of 7BRL per person. This service can be organized directly on the day of the activity.
