On this day trip to Ljubljana from Trieste, Italy, we will visit the capital of Slovenia, including its historical center and castle.

Day Trip to Ljubljana

You will be picked up at your selected pickup point at the established time and travel to Slovenia. The journey will take just over an hour until we arrive in Ljubljana.

Ljubljana serves as the cultural, economic, political, and administrative center of Slovenia, showcasing a rich heritage with an interesting mix of medieval and baroque architecture.

We will explore the old town, focusing on the work of architect Jože Ple?nik, who enhanced the city’s design through various improvements including bridges and parks.

During the guided tour, key sites include the Town Hall, Cathedral, Prešeren Square, Congress Square, Triple Bridge, and Cobblers' Bridge. A break for lunch, lasting about forty-five minutes, will be provided at a local restaurant.

The Ljubljana Dragon, the city’s symbol housed in the Castle Tower, is a highlight of the excursion. We will take a cable car to the fortress for panoramic views.

We will return to Trieste, arriving approximately 6 hours after the pickup.
