On this day trip to Ljubljana from Trieste, Italy, we'll cross into Slovenia to visit the capital with its historical center and castle.

Day Trip to Ljubljana

Pick-up will be at your selected pickup point at the established time, followed by a scenic drive of a bit over an hour to Ljubljana.

The capital is the cultural, economic, political, and administrative center of Slovenia, featuring a rich history with medieval and baroque architecture.

We will visit the old town of Ljubljana, highlighting architect Jože Ple?nik’s contributions, including remodeled centers, bridges, squares, and parks.

Our guided tour will cover essential sites such as the Town Hall, Cathedral, Prešeren Square, and Congress Square, as well as the Triple Bridge and Cobblers' Bridge. At midday, there will be a forty-five-minute lunch break at a local restaurant.

The Ljubljana Dragon, symbol of the city, resides in the Castle Tower. We'll take a cable car to the fortress for fantastic panoramic views.

Afterwards, we will return to Trieste, arriving 6 hours after pickup.
