Ready to explore Slovenia? At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your selected pickup point and board a bus that will take us out of Italy. After a road trip of about 1.5 hours, we'll arrive in Ljubljana, the picturesque capital of Slovenia.

Known for its rich history and its contrast between ancient and modern architecture, the city of Ljubljana and its picturesque historic center, designed by Jože Ple?nik, will steal your heart. This Slovenian architect transformed a provincial town into the bustling modern capital of Slovenia.

We'll take a guided tour of Ljubljana which will take us to all of its cultural must-sees, including the Town Hall, the Cathedral, and the Congress and Prešeren squares. We'll see the Triple Bridge, the Cobblers Bridge, and the Dragon Bridge, where we'll take the opportunity to learn about some fascinating Slovenian mythology. We'll also stroll along the banks of the Ljubljanica River, one of the most beautiful areas of the city.

By now you'll have built up an appetite! We'll leave you an hour of free time so that you can explore a bit on your own and grab some lunch. Afterwards, we'll hop back on the bus and head to Bled, an alpine town a 40-minute drive away with absolutely breathtaking lakeshore views.

Once there, we'll stroll along Lake Bled and appreciating sights such as the Church of the Assumption of Mary and the Bled Castle. Afterwards, we'll stop at a pastry shop where, if you wish, you can try a kremšnita, a traditional Slovenian dessert made with vanilla and cream.

Finally, we'll begin the bus journey back to Trieste. You'll be dropped off at the starting point between 7 and 8 hours after pickup.

How Does It Work?

You will be picked up from your designated location in Trieste and taken on a bus journey of approximately 1.5 hours to Ljubljana. Upon arrival, a guided tour will cover key cultural sites, including the Town Hall, Cathedral, and various bridges. You'll enjoy one hour of free time to explore the city at your leisure before boarding the bus to Bled.

In Lake Bled, you will have the chance to stroll around the lake, viewing prominent landmarks such as the Church of the Assumption and Bled Castle. A stop at a local pastry shop is included for you to taste the traditional kremšnita dessert. Your return trip to Trieste will take between 7 and 8 hours in total.
