PADI Open Water Diving Course
Before practicing in water, you must complete the theory part to learn underwater techniques.
When booking, you can choose to take the theory online or attend in person at the dive center.
Day 1: Confined water practice
On the first day, you will be picked up at your hotel in Trincomalee at 8:30 am and taken to the dive center.
There, we will briefly review the theoretical content before moving to a confined water area for practical training, learning techniques such as equipment handling, orientation, and buoyancy.
Days 2 and 3: Immersion in open water
On the second and third days, you will test your learning with a total of four open water dives. Upon successfully completing all exercises, you will receive the PADI Open Water Diver certificate.
Duration
The average course duration is three days. However, the course can extend to a maximum of five days if you attend theory classes in person or need additional time for exercises.
Pick up
This activity includes pickup from hotels in Trincomalee. If you are in another area, you must travel to Ward No. 1, 9th Mile Post.
Important information
After your last dive, you should wait at least 24 hours before flying or ascending to high altitudes.
