In this tour of Trinidad, we'll explore the culture and nature of an important city in southern Bolivia, including a visit to Suarez Lagoon.

Complete Tour of Trinidad

At the selected time, we'll pick you up at your hotel to begin the complete tour of Trinidad.

We'll start with a walking tour of the city and visit the main square, home to the colonial-style Trinidad Cathedral, notable for its two-colored façade.

Next, we'll head to the Plaza de las Banderas to learn about significant historical events in Trinidad and the Beni department. Following this, we’ll go to the San Juan stream, where we may see capybara, the largest rodent in the world.

Our next stop will be the Ramsar Wetlands interpretation center, where we will learn about the wetlands of international importance under UNESCO's Ramsar Convention.

We will then visit the Kenneth Lee Ethno-Archaeological Museum to understand the cultural richness of the ancient Moxeña civilization. Following this, we’ll go to a local handicraft market to purchase traditional medicine made with Amazonian products.

We will travel by bus to the Suarez Lagoon, the principal natural attraction of Trinidad. If you choose the afternoon schedule, it will be an excellent opportunity to witness a sunset over its waters.

You will have time to explore the surroundings or swim before we return you to your hotel in Trinidad, completing the tour in approximately 3 hours.
