Spend a day relaxing and having fun in a rural community by going fishing in Camiaco. We'll set off from Trinidad and cast our reels as we try to catch fish such as pomfrets, surubí and tarpons.
Fishing in Camiaco
At 5 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Trinidad. Once we've all arrived, we'll head towards the rural community of Camiaco on the banks of the Mamoré River. On the way, we'll stop in the village of Loreto for breakfast.
Upon arrival in Camiaco, we'll board a motor boat and head downstream to the source of the Pojige stream. Upon arrival, we'll find a suitable location to start fishing.
We will utilize traditional techniques of local fishermen and typical materials for each type of catch. You'll employ spoons, rappels, and buoys to catch curubinas, live fish and meat for pomfrets, surubíes, and coroneles, and fruit for pirapitingas.
The fish you catch will depend on the seasonality, varying throughout the year. After an enjoyable fishing experience in Camiaco, we will have a lunch featuring milanesa, salad, rice, and eggs, with fruit for dessert. We will then return to Trinidad and drop you off at your hotel.
