Fishing in Camiaco
At 5 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Trinidad. Once everyone has arrived, we'll head towards the rural community of Camiaco on the banks of the Mamoré River, making a stop in the village of Loreto for breakfast.
Upon arrival in Camiaco, we'll board a motorboat and proceed downstream to the source of the Pojige stream. We will find a suitable spot and begin fishing.
We will employ traditional techniques used by local fishermen with materials suited for each type of catch. You will use spoons, rappels, and buoys to catch curubinas, live fish, and meat for pomfrets, surubíes, and coroneles, and fruit for pirapitingas.
The type of fish we can catch will vary according to the season. Let's see who becomes the best fisherman of the day!
After fishing, we'll have lunch featuring milanesa, salad, rice and eggs, and fruit for dessert. We will then return to Trinidad and drop you off at your hotel.
