Join us on this free tour of the historic center of Trinidad and La Vigía hill at the most magical time of day. We'll climb the hill and admire the spectacular sunset over Trinidad, in the south of Cuba.

Free tour of La Vigia Hill at Sunset

We'll start this free tour of Trinidad in the main square of Trinidad, next to the statue of Terpsichore at the Hotel Iberostar Heritage Grand Trinidad, at the scheduled time.

As the afternoon turns to dusk, we'll stroll through Carillo Square and other points in the historic center of Trinidad. During the tour, we'll learn facts about the town and the Valle de los Ingenios, both declared World Heritage Sites.

We'll then begin our climb to the top of La Vigía Hill. From there, we'll enjoy views of the sun setting over Trinidad, with reddish, orange, and violet tones in the sky.

After the sunset, we'll descend La Vigía Hill while discussing the history of pirates in the area, which was strategically important for trade routes in the Caribbean Sea.

Our free tour lasts approximately 2 hours and concludes back in the historic center of Trinidad.
