Join us on this free tour of the historic center of Trinidad and La Vigía hill at sunset. We'll climb the hill to admire the views over Trinidad, located in southern Cuba.

Free tour of La Vigia Hill at Sunset

The free tour of Trinidad will begin in the main square of Trinidad, next to the statue of Terpsichore at the Hotel Iberostar Heritage Grand Trinidad, where we will meet at the scheduled time.

As the afternoon transitions to dusk, we’ll stroll through Carillo Square and other sites in the historic center of Trinidad. During the tour, we will share interesting facts about the town and the Valle de los Ingenios, both recognized as World Heritage Sites.

We will then move away from the old town and begin our ascent to the top of La Vigía Hill. Here, we will enjoy breathtaking sunset views over Trinidad, as the sky transforms with reddish, orange, and violet hues.

After viewing the sunset, we will descend from La Vigía Hill while discussing the history of pirates in the region, which has historically held strategic importance for trade routes in the Caribbean Sea.

In total, the tour lasts approximately 2 hours and concludes back in the historic center of Trinidad.
