Leave Trinidad and join our birdwatching activity in the Gran Mojos Park, exploring one of Bolivia's important ecoregions while learning about endangered species of flora and fauna.

Gran Mojos Birdwatching Activity

At 5 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Trinidad and set off in our jeep towards the municipality of Loreto, located 25 miles (40 kilometers) away.

Upon arrival, we will visit the Gran Mojos Protected Area Visitor Centre to learn about the endangered species and Indigenous communities in the area.

Afterwards, enjoy breakfast before heading to a local hacienda to search for the blue-throated macaws, an endemic species with only 250 individuals remaining in the wild.

We will return to Loreto for fish and fruit for lunch before heading back to Trinidad, where you will be dropped off at your hotel around 1 pm.

3-Day Tour

Choosing this option includes 2 days of exploring the local wildlife. The first day mirrors the previous itinerary.

On the second day, you will again be picked up at 5 am from your hotel in Trinidad and visit another hacienda to observe multicoloured thrushes. Following lunch, we will return to Trinidad, keeping an eye out for various bird species on the way.

The third day commences at 5 am with a visit to the Ibare-Mamoré municipal protected area, housing diverse bird and mammal species, including freshwater dolphins. We will return to Trinidad and drop you off at your accommodation around 3 pm.
