Description

We will meet at the designated time at Callejón de los Gallegos to start the Cuban percussion class in Trinidad. Prepare to immerse yourself in the rhythm.

This lesson covers the origin and different varieties of tumbadoras/congas, along with the various names associated with them.

You will learn the different techniques and tempos to achieve specific sounds, focusing on at least two percussive touches that comprise the rumba complex. By the end of the class, you will have a strong grasp of these elements. The session will also feature a dance demonstration, ensuring the rhythm continues to flow.

Our class will conclude after a total of one hour.
