Ibare-Mamoré Protected Area Tour

Starting at 8 am, we'll head to Puerto Ballivián, the gateway to the Ibare-Mamoré Municipal Protected Area. After a 2.5-hour boat ride on the Ibare River, we'll see the confluence with the Mamoré River. There will be stops in Loma Suarez and San Carlos. Afterward, a walking tour will allow us to observe tropical plants and local fauna, including cocoi herons and yellow-spotted river turtles. We will then sail to observe Amazon river dolphins and swim in the river's warm waters, concluding the excursion by returning to your hotel by 4 pm.

Jesuit Missions of Moxos + Coitarama Lagoon

At 6 am, we'll pick you up to visit San Javier and San Pedro, ancient Jesuit missions in Moxos. We'll explore San Javier's church and then head to San Pedro, where you'll have time for lunch on your own. Then, we’ll explore Coitarama Lagoon to observe local fauna. If the lagoon is inaccessible, we'll visit the Ipuru River instead. The tour ends around 6 pm back at your hotel.

San Ignacio de Moxos Excursion

At 6 am, we'll travel to San Ignacio de Moxos to visit the Museum of Moxos and the Musical Archive of Moxos. Free time for lunch will be provided. We’ll also see a luthier's workshop and the School of Music before returning to your hotel in the late afternoon.
