Trinidad Tour + Mercado Campesino

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and set off on our tour of Trinidad, the department of Beni's capital.

We'll visit local favorites, including the Plaza Central, the outside of the colonial cathedral, and the Plaza de las Banderas. During the tour, we'll discuss the municipality's history, founded in one of the Jesuit missions in the Moxos region, along with its pre-Hispanic, colonial, and republican history.

Next, we'll head to the San Juan stream, where we may see lizards and capybaras, the world's largest rodent, with some weighing more than 132 pounds (60 kilograms).

The tour will then proceed to the Mercado Campesino, highlighting the region's arts and crafts traditions. At the market, you will find local handicrafts like handbags and hats, as well as unique elixirs and medicines made from Amazonian products.

You will have time to explore the market and shop before returning to your hotel, with an arrival scheduled 1 hour 30 minutes after pickup.
