Trinidad Tour + Mercado Campesino

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and set off on our tour of Trinidad, the department of Beni's capital.

We'll visit some of the favourite haunts of this Bolivian city, including the Plaza Central, the outside of the colonial cathedral, and the Plaza de las Banderas. During the exploration, we'll discuss the municipality's history, founded in one of the Jesuit missions within the Moxos region, covering its pre-Hispanic, colonial, and republican periods.

Next, we'll head to the San Juan stream, where we may see lizards and capybaras, the largest rodent globally, with some exceeding 132 pounds (60 kilograms).

Our tour will continue at the Mercado Campesino, where we'll learn about local arts and crafts traditions. Here, you'll find handicrafts like handbags and hats, as well as unique elixirs and medicines made from Amazonian ingredients.

You'll have time to explore the market and shop before returning to your hotel, with an arrival time scheduled for 1 hour 30 minutes after pickup.
