Day Trip Highlights

Our adventure begins at the Magic Ice Bar in Tromsø, where we will gather at the appointed time. After boarding a spacious minibus, we will journey towards Norway's fifth-largest island, setting our sights on the Kvaløya Fjord.

Kvaløya, situated between Tromsø and the Norwegian Sea, enchants visitors with its soaring peaks, charming fishing communities, and distinctive arctic fauna. Our initial destination will be the breathtaking Kvaløya Fjord, celebrated for its remarkable landscapes.

Following a photo opportunity to capture the magnificent surroundings, we will continue our exploration of the island. As we cruise along the Norwegian coastline, take in the colorful fishermen's cabins and watch for local wildlife such as reindeer, all while delving into the rich tapestry of Sami heritage. Additionally, we may spot an array of migratory birds that find refuge on the island.

Next, we will venture to the Sommarøy archipelago, also called the "summer islands," where you can take a leisurely stroll to discover its many islands and beaches.

To replenish our energy, a delightful lunch will be served in this tranquil environment. Once re-energized, we will make our way back to Tromsø, wrapping up this six-hour expedition filled with the beauty of nature, cultural insights, and awe-inspiring vistas.
