Reindeer Sleigh Ride + Sami Camp Visit

Experience Norway's indigenous people's traditional way of life and take a reindeer sleigh ride through the Norwegian Lapland while visiting a Sami camp.

Tour Description

Participants will meet at the Tromso Havn Prostneser bus terminal at the scheduled time. A minibus will take you on a 30-minute journey to an authentic Sami camp.

Upon arrival, you will see wild reindeer near the Sami cabins. Food will be provided for feeding these animals in their natural habitat.

A reindeer sleigh ride follows. Participants can choose between a 10-15 minute sleigh ride or a 20-25 minute ride.

As you ride through the scenic landscapes of Norwegian Lapland, take in the region's sights while experiencing this traditional mode of transport. Afterward, the group will gather in a cozy cabin for a hot drink and a traditional stew. This time will also include a performance of "joik," a cultural Sami song.

After 4 hours, the activity will conclude and participants will return to the meeting point.
