Description

At the designated time, we'll see you at the Clarion The Edge Hotel in Tromsø, the third-largest city in the Arctic Circle.

After boarding the boat, we'll set off from Tromsø's harbour and sail south towards the Ramfjord. This estuary features a unique 90-degree corner, which you can photograph from the boat.

We'll then continue to an old fishing settlement on Kvaløya Island. As we cruise through the Arctic Circle, we'll see views of Ristraumen, a local fishing spot. We will disembark here to learn about the history of Northern Norway's fishing industry, significant for the local economy.

You'll also see traditional Norwegian clotheslines used for drying fish in the open air. During our visit, you'll sample some of the traditional products produced here. Additionally, hot drinks are available at the bar on the boat.

Lastly, we'll return to the meeting point. If weather conditions permit, we'll deploy an underwater drone to observe the vibrant seabed of the Norwegian Arctic fjords in real time.

Our cruise will conclude back at the starting point close to the harbor between 4 and 5 hours after the start.
