Description

At the designated time, we'll see you at the Clarion The Edge Hotel in Tromsø, the third-largest city in the Arctic Circle.

After boarding the boat, we'll set off from Tromsø's harbour and sail south towards the Ramfjord. This estuary features a unique 90-degree corner for photography.

We'll then continue to an old fishing settlement on Kvaløya Island. As we cruise through the Arctic Circle, we'll see views of Ristraumen, a local fishing spot. We'll disembark here to learn about the history of Northern Norway's fishing industry.

You’ll see traditional Norwegian clotheslines used for drying fish and try some traditional products. Hot drinks are available at the bar on the boat if desired.

Finally, we'll return to the meeting point. Weather permitting, we’ll deploy an underwater drone to observe the vibrant seabed of the Norwegian Arctic fjords in real time.

The cruise will conclude back at the starting point around 4 to 5 hours after the start.
