Walking Tour of Tromsø
Meet us at the Prostneset bus terminal for an exciting walking tour of Tromsø. Explore the city's most important places of interest and discover significant historical events.
First, we will stop in front of the Domkirke or Cathedral of Our Lady, the northernmost Catholic Church in the world. Next, we will visit City Hall and the contemporary Tromsø Library, notable for its avant-garde architecture and its important book collection in the Arctic.
Continuing to the harbour area, we will visit the famous Polar Museum. Here, we will learn about the mythical Norwegian adventurer Roald Amundsen and the explorers who vied to be the first to visit the South Pole.
The tour lasts 2.5 hours.
