Discover the amazing mammals that inhabit the Norwegian fjords on this whale watching boat trip.
Whale Watching Fjord Cruise
At 8 am, we'll meet at the pier to the side of Skarven Kro Restaurant on Kaigata Street in Tromsø. We will sail the icy waters of the Norwegian fjords.
During the winter months, from early November to late January, Tromsø's waters attract humpback whales, killer whales, porpoises, and other Arctic cetaceans migrating to feed on herring. We will cruise the fjords in search of these mammals, stopping the boat to observe and photograph them when spotted. While watching, hot drinks will be available at the boat's bar.
After witnessing this spectacle, we will return to the starting point between 4 pm and 5 pm.
Important
We cannot guarantee whale sightings as they are wild animals, and unpredictable weather can affect their behavior. The trip duration will depend on weather conditions and whale spotting, ranging from eight to nine hours.
This whale watching activity will be conducted without disturbing the animals, using a silent electric motor to avoid noise or vibrations harmful to cetaceans.
