On this Vespa tour of Tropea, you'll discover the coastal city of Calabria and its surroundings while driving Italy's most popular motorcycles. You'll also visit Pizzo and the Zungri caves!
Description
We'll meet at the scheduled time at Largo San Michele 8/9 to introduce ourselves and collect the Vespas for an exciting tour around Tropea and its surroundings.
After a tour around this Calabrese town famous for its Cathedral and Santa Maria dell'Isola Church, we'll ride the motorcycles to the Zungri Caves, a series of dwellings in excavated caverns in the rock, also known as the Stone City.
Next, we'll drive to Pizzo, where we can visit the picturesque Piedigrotta Church located within a cave, and Castello Murat, an impressive fort with panoramic views of the sea and the city.
We will make a stop in Pizzo to try the famous "Il Tartufo" ice cream, a local specialty that is highly recommended.
Finally, we'll return to Tropea, concluding the tour after 4 hours.
