Marinera Show Featuring Peruvian Paso Horses

Our journey begins at 2 pm in the Plaza de Armas of Trujillo, where we will proceed to the Casa Campo Alcor. This establishment is dedicated to the breeding and care of these remarkable Peruvian horses.

The Peruvian Paso horses are distinguished by their unique sideways gait, known as the llano step. During our visit, we will enjoy a performance showcasing these horses, expertly guided by their chalanes, the skilled riders of the Paso breed. Prepare to be amazed by the elegance and majesty of their movements.

This folkloric dance has gained recognition as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Nation, making the marinera accompanied by Peruvian Paso horses a highlight for visitors in Trujillo and the surrounding region. The dance unfolds in pairs and is complemented by lively music, as dancers and riders don traditional costumes that reflect their cultural heritage, enhancing the display of grace and elegance.

Concluding after a delightful 30 to 45-minute performance, we will head back to Trujillo. The excursion wraps up at approximately 4 pm at the original meeting point, where we will part ways.
