Marinera Show with Peruvian Paso Horses

At 2 pm, we'll meet at the Plaza de Armas in Trujillo and depart for the Casa Campo Alcor, an institute dedicated to the raising and caring of Peruvian horses.

Peruvian Paso horses are characterised by their unique llano step. We will have the opportunity to see a show of these horses led by chalanes, the riders of Paso horses, and admire their elegance and majesty.

This folkloric dance has been declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Nation. The marinera dance with Peruvian Paso horses is a significant tourist attraction in Trujillo. The dance is performed in pairs and accompanied by music as the dancers and riders, dressed in traditional costumes, display their coordination.

After the show, which lasts between 30 and 45 minutes, we will return to Trujillo. We will conclude our experience at 4 pm back at the starting point.
