Experience the origins of the Moche civilization by visiting the temples of the Sun and the Moon. Meet at Jiron Orbegoso Street at 10 am before heading to the Moche countryside to explore these ancient structures.
Stop at a workshop to observe the making of Moche pottery before arriving at the site. Explore the impressive Temple of the Sun and the nearby Temple of the Moon, both adorned with colorful paintings depicting warrior and religious motifs.
Witness the effects of erosion on the temples and learn about the history of illegal looting that took place. After exploring for an hour and a half, head to Huaca Chica village for a two-hour break to enjoy a meal at a local restaurant.
Return to Plaza de Armas in Trujillo by 2 pm, concluding the tour.
