Join us to discover the pre-Columbian culture of Peru on this excursion to the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, Huanchaco and the citadel of Chan Chan.

Tour Details

We'll meet at the indicated time at the Plaza de Armas in Trujillo, and from there we'll head towards the archaeological site of the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, Huanchaco, and the citadel of Chan Chan. The tour includes stops at Huaca Arco Iris and Huaca Esmeralda, followed by a visit to the ancient citadel of Chan Chan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the biggest adobe cities in America, featuring the Palace of Nik An.

Afterwards, we will proceed to Huanchaco, where you will have some free time to have lunch. Post-lunch, we will visit the Museum Huaca de Moche and then proceed to the archaeological site of the Sun and Moon Pyramids, gaining insights into life in the Trujillo Valley during the pre-Columbian Moche era. The tour lasts approximately 8 hours.
