Tour of Tam-Awan Village and the Philippine Military Academy
Your journey begins with a 9 a.m. pickup from your accommodation in Baguio, where you'll board a bus to commence the adventure at the Kennon Road View Point. This vantage point offers breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mountains, standing out as one of the most photographed locations in the countryside. After soaking in the views, we will navigate the picturesque winding roads to the Philippine Military Academy, which has been operational since 1898.
Subsequently, our next stop will be Easter College, an institution established in 1909 originally focused on teaching young women textile arts. It has since evolved into a significant educational center, playing a crucial role in the community. Interestingly, the college faced destruction of its textiles during World War II.
Then, we'll proceed to Tam-Awan Village, a charming representation of a typical Cordillera village, now transformed into an outdoor museum showcasing traditional dwellings. Finally, we will conclude our expedition at La Trinidad Strawberry Farm, where you will uncover the intriguing methods behind strawberry farming.
By 12 p.m., the tour will wrap up, after which we will return you to your hotel.
