On our private tour of the Tucume Pyramids, you'll visit a famous archaeological complex that houses 26 lambayeque huacas. You'll be accompanied by an English-speaking guide as you explore this fascinating place and learn about its history.

Túcume Pyramids Private Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll meet you at the main entrance of the Túcume Pyramids Archaeological Site. Our tour will begin with views from a lookout point, followed by a visit to the Museum of the Pyramids of Túcume, where we'll learn about Naylamp, a significant figure in Lambayeque culture.

You'll spend 2 hours exploring this site with your guide, focusing on Lambayeque or "Sican" culture. This civilization occupied this part of Peru from the 11th century until its annexation to the Chimu Kingdom and later to the Inca Empire.

We'll see the Huaca Las Balsas, Huaca Pintada, and Huaca del Pueblo. Additionally, we'll explore walled enclosures and the necropolis, learning about the building techniques that utilized rectangular adobe bricks, and admiring zoomorphic figures on the walls.

Once our private tour of the Túcume Pyramids has concluded, we'll say our goodbyes at the entrance of the complex.
