Sail between two countries on this Minho River boat tour! We'll traverse calm river waters in a traditional wooden boat and see the Galician town of Tui among other sites.

Minho River Boat Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the fishing wharf in Tui to board a traditional wooden boat and set sail down the Minho River. The tour will highlight the shorelines of the river that separates Spain from Portugal.

From the boat, we will see the landscapes of Tui and the Santa Maria Cathedral, which dates back to the 12th century.

We will sail under the Tui International Bridge, known as "Friendship Bridge" in Portugal, which connects the two countries. On the Portuguese side lies Valença do Minho, notable for its fortress visible from the boat, which has been rebuilt multiple times while preserving Gothic and Baroque details.

During the drift along the river, we will learn about the flora and fauna in Minho. The riverbed's minerals support diverse ecosystems, allowing us to spot various natural habitats on both sides of the river.

After a fulfilling 45 minutes, we will conclude the experience back at the dock.
