Day Trip to Las Coloradas & Río Lagartos

Tour Highlights

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Super Akí in Tulum and set off for Las Coloradas. A light breakfast will be served during the trip. Upon arrival, insights into the salt collection process will be provided amidst stunning scenery.

This area offers opportunities to spot many flamingos, as the waters contain a microorganism called artemia salina that tints them pink, influencing the coloration of the birds.

Next, we'll go on a boat journey to the Río Lagartos nature reserve to observe diverse flora and fauna, including crocodiles, flamingos, and mangroves. A refreshing swim will follow at a pristine beach, after which we'll visit a crocodile farm to learn about these animals. The excursion will conclude with lunch at a local restaurant featuring local cuisine.

After lunch, we will return to the starting point, wrapping up our excursion.
