Day Trip to Las Coloradas & Río Lagartos

Tour Highlights

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Super Akí in Tulum to start our journey to Las Coloradas. A light breakfast will be served en route. Upon arrival, insights into the salt collection process will be provided, complemented by stunning scenery.

This area offers opportunities to spot flamingos, which color is influenced by a microorganism called artemia salina. Afterward, we will embark on a boat journey to the Rio Lagartos nature reserve, where diverse flora and fauna, including crocodiles, flamingos, and mangroves, can be observed.

A refreshing swim at a pristine beach follows, along with a visit to a crocodile farm to learn about these animals. After this, we will enjoy lunch featuring local cuisine at a local restaurant.

After lunch, we will return to the starting point, concluding our excursion.
